1. Nature of the service
Recall365 aggregates, translates and structures overseas product-recall information. Source information originates from official recall notices published by government regulators (e.g. the US CPSC/FDA, EU Safety Gate/RASFF, UK, Japan, Korea, Australia). We collect, de-duplicate, machine-translate and organise it; we are not the original publisher of any recall.
2. Accuracy & disclaimer
Please note: we use reasonable efforts to keep translations and data accurate, but:
- translations may differ from the source — the original official notice always prevails;
- collection and updates may be subject to delay;
- before any material business, compliance or legal decision, please verify the original source.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from translation differences or update delays. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence).
3. Not legal or professional advice
Information on the platform does not constitute legal, regulatory or professional advice. For compliance, takedown, recall or litigation decisions, consult qualified lawyers, testing or certification bodies.
4. Data use & resale restrictions
You may use search results, exports and API data for your own compliance, risk and business purposes; however, without written authorization you may not resell, redistribute, republish or sublicense it to third parties, nor perform bulk scraping or automated extraction beyond your plan's limits. Data is provided "as is", for reference only.
5. Acceptable use
You must use the platform lawfully and must not use it for unfair competition, defamation, misleading consumers, or any unlawful activity. You are responsible for the consequences of any misuse.
6. Third-party sources & links
Our content cites public recall sources and regulatory notices and may link to overseas regulator websites or other third parties. Associated rights and responsibilities remain with the original publishers; we are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or data practices.
7. Intellectual property
Original text, structured explanations, layouts, graphics, and our arrangement of public data are owned by Recall365 or the relevant rights holders and may not be copied in full, republished, or used for misleading commercial purposes without written consent. Rights in the underlying recall data remain with the source regulators.
8. Service availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability and may suspend the service for maintenance, upgrades, third-party dependencies or force majeure. This limitation does not apply to interruptions caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
9. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is governed by our separate Privacy Policy. By using the service you confirm you have read and understood it.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; updates take effect when posted here with a revised date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
